Playdates For Kids Terms of Service
By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.
This section contains general guidelines and policies that you should know about the company, as well as things the company and other members should be able to expect from you. Our goal is to communicate a consistent set of expectations to everyone and eliminate misunderstandings and inconsistent interpretations. We want to provide an environment where everyone can have fun with a minimum of inconvenience or distraction.
Personal Information
Playdates For Kids does not normally give your name, number, email, or address out to other companys or organizations unless it is something like a customer service company to make sure we are taking good care of customers.
Playdates For Kids may disclose the previously listed information in cases in which we have reason to believe that doing so is necessary to identify, contact, restrain, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with Playdates For Kids, our property, our users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities, and in cases in which we believe in good faith that the law requires us to do so.
Playdates For Kids will not disclose any of your personal information, except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to cooperate with local, state and/or federal law enforcement authorities, to enforce the Terms of Use or prevent unauthorized use of the Application, to respond to claims that any content in the Playdates For Kids Application violates the rights of third parties, or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Playdates For Kids, its users, or the public.
Playdates For Kids relies on feedback from users regarding the services provided. Playdates For Kids reserves the right to replicate your written comments about the service sent to our representatives via our website or the Playdates For Kids Application in promotional materials and/or in business development materials, along with your first name and institution. Your email address and any personal information besides your name and institution will not be used at any time without your agreement. If you would like to make your comments anonymous, you may designate them as such in your communication.
Playdates For Kids uses email and text messages as well as phone calls and Facebook groups to communicate to members and prospective members information that is relevant to their membership, their events, or their membership application. You can stop this communication at any time (you will see in the text message or email how to do that).

If you want to contact another member, the best way is to get his or her phone number when you meet them at an event.
It is important that the company has an accurate address, home phone number, and an alternate phone number for you along with your email address. The email address is what gets your e-newsletter in your inbox Company staff often need to call members concerning details of upcoming events. If you move, be sure to call the office and update your records.
Users of the Playdates For Kids Application may share links to other websites or materials posted online. Playdates For Kids is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites or any interactions you may experience while visiting said websites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Site, and to read the policies of any site that they may visit. The Playdates For Kids privacy statement applies solely to information collected by the Playdates For Kids Application and public family summary.
Event Sign – Ups
- Be sure to keep a record of what you’ve signed up for!
- All events are filled on a “first paid, first reserved basis.
- Sign up early, if you can. This gives us time to increase our capacity if the demand is greater than expected.
- The event cancellation policy is on the website and may vary by event because of vendor deadlines, passport requirements etc.
For activities that request personal information, you agree to provide accurate and current information about yourself. Your registration and/or participation in our Application services may be canceled without notice if at any time we discover that you have provided false information or violated any term of this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use.
SECURITY
We take every precaution to protect your information. When you submit information via the Playdates For Kids Application and public family summary, your information is protected both online and offline. Online, we use encryption and smart server architecture to protect information. While we strive to protect your privacy and secure your information, we cannot guarantee the security of information sent via your personal Internet connection, and you disclose such information at your own risk.
Only Playdates For Kids employees with a specific need to access your information in order to perform their job duties are provided such access to the data you provide, and they must have secure administrative rights in order to do so. The servers on which personally identifiable information is stored are kept in a restricted, secure environment, and are professionally maintained.
AGREEMENT
By using the Playdates For Kids Application and profile, you signify your consent to our Terms of Use. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of these Terms of Use at any time without further notice. If we do this, we will post the changes to these Terms of Use on this page and will indicate at the top of this page the Terms of Use’s effective date. Your continued use of Playdates For Kids after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Use. If you do not agree to abide by these or any future Terms of Use, please do not use or access Playdates For Kids. It is your responsibility to regularly review these Terms of Use.
You agree that you may not use Playdates For Kids in any unlawful manner or in any other manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Playdates For Kids Application. In addition, you agree not to use the Playdates For Kids Application to:
- upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any content that we deem to be harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
- impersonate any person or entity, create a false identity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any person or entity;
- upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other form of solicitation;
- upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
- intimidate, stalk or harass another person or entity;
- harm minors in any way;
- use or attempt to use another’s account, service or system without authorization from the Company;
- forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any information transmitted through the Playdates For Kids Application;
- upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);
- in any way violate the honor code or code of conduct of any institution to which your student or you yourself belong;
- aid or encourage a student to violate the honor code or code of conduct of the institution to which a student belongs;
- use Playdates For Kids as a marketplace for services other than tutoring (such as essay writing, completion of a student’s assignments, etc.)
Your use of the Playdates For Kids Application is at your sole risk unless otherwise explicitly stated. The Application and Playdates For Kids Website (www.Playdates For Kids.com), including the information, services, and content, is provided on an “as is”, “as available”, and “with all faults” basis. Playdates For Kids disclaims all express or implied conditions, representations, and warranties of any kind, including any implied warranty or condition of merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose. Playdates For Kids makes no representations, warranties, conditions or guarantees as to the usefulness, quality, suitability, truth, accuracy, or completeness of the Application or the Services provided by a tutor met with using the application.
By using the Playdates For Kids Application you acknowledge and agree that listed tutors are not employed by Playdates For Kids.
Tutors using Playdates For Kids and tutees using the application have NOT been screened by Playdates For Kids. You assume all responsibility for conducting reference or background checks for any tutor or tutee. You assume all responsibility for personal safety and security.
Playdates For Kids makes no warranty or representations that the Playdates For Kids Application will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; the results that may be obtained from the use of the Application will be accurate or reliable; the quality of any services, content, information obtained through the Playdates For Kids Application will meet your expectations or requirements; or any errors in the Playdates For Kids Application will be corrected.
You assume all risk for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from obtaining any content from the Playdates For Kids Application, including any damages resulting from computer viruses.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold Playdates For Kids and its subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, licensors, suppliers, alliance members, other partners, employees, and representatives harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of or connection to the Playdates For Kids Application or the Playdates For Kids website (including any use by you on behalf of another party), your violation of the Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
